If you reach a certain level of fame and celebrity status, you will inevitably begin consulting a psychic. Whether it’s high profiles like John Edwards psychic, or Sylvia Browne predictions, or any famous American psychics, celebrity and psychic go hand-in-hand.
Statistically, compared to the general population, celebrities love psychics. They seem to be attracted to psychics and psychic arts and consult them more often than their advisers and staff in some cases. And why not? With all the fame and resources at thier disposal, investing in a psychic may not be such a bad thing.
There are various degrees of relationships certain celebrities have with their psychic. Some will consult a relatively unknown psychic on a one session at a time basis, while others may have their psyhic follow them in their entourage. Or be a top client of superstar psychics like Sylvia Brown. I’m looking at you Montel! The vast majority of celebrities treat psychics as personal and private advisors – whose main function besides the readings are to stay out of the public eye and remain low-key. I’m certain there are a lot of A-list star publicists who would crucify their client if they publically endorsed or even referred to their personal psychic. It’s an unfortunate reflection of reality that psychics are often ridiculed or dismissed in society as charlatans.
Some celebrities have a team of famous mediums specializing in areas like telepathy, tarot card readings, pet psychic readings, astrologers, numerologists, etc. Afterall, who wouldn’t want a free horoscope love reading, followed by a tarot reading or psychic love spells on their next film or photo shoot? Celebrity culture is carniverous. And a celebrity with a healthy appetite for stardom must use everything in their arsenal to get the edge on their next project(s) as well as future popularity trends.
Then there’s ego. Famous people do not necessarily have to crave attention to experience a healthy ego. Surrounded by ‘yes-men’ (and woman) literally twenty-four hours a day makes them feel the spotlight on their own lives that much more ubiquitous. So it would stand to reason that a famous film star, reality star, model, or personality would want to know all there is to know about their life, career, love, decisions, and future when they are the focus. A star of the show is always a star of his/her own psychic reading.
So by now you’re dying to which stars use psychics? From my internal sources, I was pretty blown away enough to suggest that 30-40% (maybe even more!) have used the services of a psychic at some point in their life and career. Even older historical figures like Abraham Lincoln, and former Canadian prime minister Wilfrid Laurier obsessively consulted psychics for seances. Few celebrities will publically acknowledge using a famous female psychic on the payroll, but it was well known that the biggest celebrity love psychic use was Princess Diana. Apparently, most of her readings were specifically focused on her love life!
And there are some reports that Hillary Clinton also used to have regular psychic sessions too.
I found your site on technorati and read a few of your other posts. Keep up the good work. I just added your RSS feed to my Google News Reader. Looking forward to reading more from you down the road!
